On the second day of the Erasmus+ KA2 Project "Literally EUunited! “We welcomed our guests at the Butterfly Gate, a walk immersed in the Beauty of Art and Culture. Afterwards we went to Plexo central G. Falcone, welcomed by children celebrating and by our Principal, including a moment of refreshment organized by our dear mothers. At Plesso Borsellino we were welcomed by the children of the Infants School who sang a wonderful welcome song, by our Orchestra that performed a concert that started with the Anthem of Joy, the professor's choir. ssa di Musica who performed a famous Italian song, "Super-heroes". After a lunch break, in which we made our guests taste the typical Catanese rotisserie, groups of students and colleagues from the 3 school sections with songs, dances and art laboratories of different kinds allowed us to spend a beautiful day dedicated to Art and Culture in a joyful and community atmosphere!
The third day of the conclusive mobility of the Erasmus+ KA2 Literally EUunited project has ended. The start of a day with uncertain weather, actually allowed us to enjoy the magnificence of the landscape and nature of our wonderful Etna. In full line with the topic "Artistic Literacy", we have fully lived the Silvestri Craters, accompanied by our guide to visit the small museum. We got to know better how our Mongibello works, how lava stone is made up and then admire how lava stone can be transformed into pieces of art in Belpasso. Once again nature leaves us speechless admiring the poetry it gives us.
During the fourth day of mobility of the Erasmus+ KA2 Project "Literally EUunited! “We visited some historic buildings of our Catania which, with its Baroque style and its historical and cultural richness, fascinated our guests.” We visited the Cathedral dedicated to St. Agata, the monastery of the Sangiuliano Palace and the "Museo dei saperi e delle Mirabilia siciliane" in the beautiful University Square Square; told the 4 legends represented in the 4 streetlights of the Square; the Ursino Castle, the Pescheria, the historic Catanese fish market, and finally a long stop at the Monastery of Benedettini, where we have I carried out the "Potter's workshop" workshop, we created ceramic sculptures that each of us took with him. The guided tour of the Monastery in English ended a day in the name of Beauty and Art.
In the evening a "farewell party" gave moments of leisure and fun to host students and their now French, Turkish, Greek, Polish and Hungarian friends.

The fifth and final day of welcome week at our school featured our students.
Some take part in a workshop on sign language, typical of us Italians .
Below, the central activity of the mobility theme, "Artistic Literacy," established during the kick off meeting, which is to have the students represent the highlights of some famous movies in their home countries.
Each Partner challenged another and on this day they represented them in our school. Italy has been challenged by France with the movie "Almost Amici". The heart of the movie is "to care for the other with all of oneself, including one's own personal fragility and one's own difficulties, although this will not heal a person from a disease from which one cannot be cured, but will heal the person, give them hope, give them a real perspective on life" (cit. ); a movie that can also entertain us. We have challenged Turkey with the film "Pinocchio", which teaches that "to be real and good guys you need to commit to behaving correctly and to grow up in a positive perspective, away from the illusions of the Baloch Country" (cit. )
The day starts with the rehearsals of the scenes, a fresh and delicious break at the now famous "Chiosco San George" and, therefore, the staging of the movies.
The boys all did great! Congratulations!
The day ends with a succulent lunch with typical dishes prepared by moms but also by many colleagues! From lasagna to caponata, parmesan and more! Thank you very much!
Before leaving the Coordinators got together for a brief meeting while the students were engaged in evaluating passed mobility.
Tomorrow is the time for goodbyes.
