The mobility about Mathematics Literacy was done between the dates of 6-10 March 2023 at College Elsa Triolet, France with the attendance of all partner schools from Turkiye, Italy, Poland, Greece and Hungary.
During that week, our French partners Mira Hamrit and the Principal Nelly Guéret and their team welcomed us to start our third student's mobility. Our students met different people from different cultures and shared many activities together. They were hosted in French families and attended classes with their French partners. All along the week they also attended activities focused on our Maths Module. They first introduced their school and culture to each other and to French groups, to involve as many local students as possible, not only the host families' students. French students recited extracts from their hymns, and prepared questions to ask the Erasmus guests about their country and culture. Finally, French students had their guests play a Kahoot they had prepared on French culture. The day after, Erasmus students played mathematics games they had prepared in their culture with French students from regular classes. On Wednesday, an art workshop showing how Maths and Art are connected was offered to our Erasmus guests and volunteer French students. On Thursday, an Escape Game was organized in the library, with math based riddles. Partners played in international teams. The evening a musical and gastronomic gathering was organized with families to share about our immaterial culture. On Friday a math hunt was organized in Paris to collect as many mathematical shapes as possible, and spot the symmetry used in the French architecture. They also visited historical and cultural places (in Provins, Fontainebleau and Paris), to learn more about their host partner culture.
